New Paintings - More Feathered Friends

I started on these paintings over a month ago, and finally finished them.
I have been needing a new painting of my sweet little fuzzheads. Here are Lucy and Jack floating along in the sweetheart swan.

And as you might know, I have been a bit obsessed with owls lately,
and I finished these colorful twins

And I just love this tree filled with the little wise guys. I can almost hear all the thoughtful hooting going on.

I am working on some coordinating softies which I will post when finished, then off to the shop they will go!

Spring's New Adventure

My little sister Spring is moving to Portland Oregon on the 31st. She's all grown up and off on a great adventure. If anyone is looking for a fabulous Graphic Artist in the Portland area, I know one that will be there soon! I am so happy to have a really good excuse to visit one of my favorite states, that excuse would be to visit my favorite (and only) sister in the world. I hope you have a wonderful time with Nater Potater! Save me some Barnacle Bills smoked salmon! This painting is of Lucy taking a ride by balloon. She is hovering over what could be the Oregon coast.
That little red house is where Spring is going to live (wouldn't that be nice).

I love you sis! I wish I had that dress in my size.

Lucy is Likable?

I finally finished a couple of the paintings I have been working on.
I have had a fixation with red lately, so that is the reason for the red background.
I hope you like my big-eyed girlies!

Looking at those sparkling blue eyes just brightens my day.

Goose Girl

"Don't forget to walk the goose!" her mother called. This is "Goose Girl", it was inspired by the flocks of Canada Geese that have been cruising our town. It is so wonderful to see and hear the birds again! My favorite part of this painting is the knit skirt, it looks so cosy and hip.

First painting for Etsy

This is the first painting I plan to list on etsy. I just love those stripey stockings! This is my "Star Girl", and you guessed it, she is holding a star. I wanted to add a visual image to
my shop name. Anyway, here she is, and have a lovely day!
